Skills Required After Graduation from Intermediate-Level Program in Rubber Plant Engineering

On February 10, 2019, Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (BLDTBXH) stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary medicine, takes effect.

In the Regulation on the minimum knowledge volume and the competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level and college level in Rubber Tree Engineering, issued alongside Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills that graduates in Rubber Tree Engineering at the intermediate level must achieve are as follows:

- Recognize and effectively use several types of soil and fertilizers for rubber trees;

- Describe and identify several common varieties of rubber trees in production;

- Proficiently perform the steps in the technical process of planting, caring for, propagating, and harvesting rubber latex;

- Identify types of rubber pests and use effective prevention and control measures;

- Conduct experiments in Rubber Tree Engineering production;

- Organize and implement the steps in the technical process of planting, caring for, and harvesting rubber trees effectively;

- Implement occupational safety measures in Rubber Tree Engineering and current occupational safety regulations in our country;

- Use technical measures in Rubber Tree Engineering to minimize environmental damage, creating a sustainable and developed agriculture;

- Use basic information technology as prescribed; exploit, handle, and apply information technology in professional work in the field;

- Use basic foreign language skills, reaching level 1/6 in the Vietnamese Framework of Foreign Language Competency; apply foreign language skills in professional work in the field.

Detailed regulations are specified in Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, issued on December 28, 2018.
