Required Knowledge for the Rubber Tree Engineering Field at College Level

Recently, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) promulgated Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at intermediate and college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine.

In the Regulation on Minimum Knowledge Volume and Competency Requirements to be achieved by learners upon graduation from the intermediate level, collegiate level for the rubber tree engineering industry and trade issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge learners must acquire upon graduating with a collegiate degree in rubber tree engineering is specified as follows:

- Explain the scientific basis of the physiological functions of the rubber tree;

- Explain the scientific basis of the dialectical relationship between soil, fertilizers, and rubber trees;

- Analyze some basic physiological activities of the plant and the interrelationship between growth and development, and the essence of resistance characteristics;

- Explain the scientific basis of the technical process of planting, caring for, and harvesting latex from rubber trees;

- Explain the role and transformation of organic matter changes in the soil;

- Explain the scientific basis of pest management on rubber trees;

- Present the steps involved in organizing rubber tree production at production facilities and family households;

- Explain the scientific basis of environmental protection and the importance of environmental protection for sustainable development;

- Analyze the process of selection, propagation, plant protection work, and experimental arrangement methods;

- Present the basic content on efficient and sustainable land use in tropical monsoon conditions, rational use of various fertilizers and lime, bio-fertilizers, and mineral fertilizers related to the quality yield of rubber tree plantations, soil fertility, and environmental safety;

- Present measures for labor safety in rubber tree plantations;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, and physical education as required.
