Regulations on the Application of IT and Information Security in Financial Sector Statistics

Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC has been promulgated by the Ministry of Finance to regulate the Statistical Reporting Regime of the Finance Sector. This document replaces Circular 15/2013/TT-BTC.

The application of information technology and information security in financial statistics is stipulated in Circular 02/2019/TT-BTC as follows:

- The Financial Statistics Information System is used to send, receive, and exploit statistical information and data in accordance with the financial sector statistical reporting policies.- Statistical report data and related documents belonging to the list of State secrets and financial sector secrets must be managed and used in accordance with the regulations on protecting state secrets in the financial sector and Article 57 of the Statistics Law.- Individuals authorized to exploit statistical report data on the Financial Statistics Information System are responsible for complying with regulations on managing system access passwords and information security.
