Red Cross activities on disaster prevention and response are activities that contribute to minimizing the risk of disasters, and the damage to people and property when a disaster occurs.
According to the provisions of Article 13 of the 2008 Red Cross Activities Law, Red Cross activities on disaster prevention and response include:
First, propagating, disseminating knowledge, and guiding skills for Red Cross members, volunteers, and the public on disaster prevention and response.
Second, organizing forces, means, and other material conditions to participate in disaster prevention and response.
Third, participating in organizing the evacuation, relocation, protection of the public, rescuing victims, and community-oriented recovery activities after disasters.
