Procedure for Adjusting the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business

Requirements and Conditions:

- If an enterprise needs to adjust any content in the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business as stipulated in Clause 1, Article 27 of Decree 03/2017/ND-CP, the enterprise must follow procedures to apply for adjustments to the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business.- For the adjustment of the maximum number of gaming machines and gaming tables that the enterprise is allowed to operate, the enterprise must comply with regulations in Clause 3, Article 8 of Decree 03/2017/ND-CP.

Step 1: Preparation of Dossier

The enterprise shall prepare 01 set of documents with the following components:

- Application for adjustment of the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business;- Certified copy of the Investment Registration Certificate or Decision on Investment Policy, including casino business activities and any adjusted Investment Registration Certificates or Decisions on Investment Policy (if any) or an uncertified copy accompanied by the original for comparison;- Certified copy of the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business of the enterprise;- Documents and materials proving that the contents of the adjustment to the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business comply with Decree 03 and other relevant legal provisions.

Step 2: Submission of Dossier

- The enterprise submits 01 set of documents requesting the reissuance of the Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business to the Ministry of Finance;- Within 30 days from the date of receipt of the enterprise's valid dossier, the Ministry of Finance shall lead and cooperate with relevant agencies as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 26 of Decree 03/2017/ND-CP to consider and decide on the issuance of an adjusted Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business to the enterprise, specifying the adjustment instance.

Result of Implementation:The Ministry of Finance issues the adjusted Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business. The validity of the adjusted Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business is the remaining operational term specified in the issued, reissued, or last adjusted Certificate of Eligibility for Casino Business.
