Minimum skill requirements for the intermediate level plant protection sector - Illustration

According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge, the competency requirements that students must achieve after graduating from the intermediate level, and the college-level plant protection sector, issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum skills required upon graduation in the intermediate level plant protection sector are as follows:

- Accurately identify pest types and propose effective control measures;

- Organize investigations to detect, predict, and forecast pests on crops;

- Develop plans for pest control according to crop groups;

- Basic implementation of agricultural extension work related to plant protection;

- Simulate the design of experiments and fertilizer and pesticide trials;

- Implement production and business and other activities related to the field of plant protection in accordance with current legal regulations;

- Participate in effective management of pesticide business activities to ensure safety;

- Use basic information technology according to regulations; exploit, process, and apply information technology in specialized work in the industry;

- Use basic foreign language skills, achieve level 1/6 in the Vietnamese language competency framework; apply foreign language skills to specialized work in the industry.
