Minimum Responsibilities to be Achieved After Graduating from Intermediate Program in Agricultural and Forestry Extension

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine, takes effect from February 10, 2019.

According to the provisions on the minimum amount of knowledge and competencies that students must achieve after graduating from the intermediate and college levels in the fields of agricultural extension and forestry, issued along with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the level of autonomy and minimum responsibilities to be achieved upon graduating in the field of agricultural extension and forestry at the intermediate level are as follows:

- Have good ethical qualities and a correct perception of the profession, displaying a cooperative attitude with colleagues, respecting the law and workplace regulations;

- Be honest and highly disciplined, with the ability to work independently, ready to take on assigned tasks; perform work with quality and high productivity;

- Have the ability to work independently and in groups; possess the capability to solve tasks under changing working conditions;

- Guide and supervise colleagues in performing tasks, taking personal responsibility and partial group responsibility within the scope of assigned work;

- Have the ability to assess the quality and results of their own work and that of the group upon the completion of assigned tasks.

Additionally, after graduating at the intermediate level, students possess the capability to meet the requirements of job positions related to the sector, including:

- Developing science and technology transfer models;

- Training and extension in agricultural and forestry extension;

- Information and propaganda in agricultural and forestry extension;

- Consulting and services in agricultural and forestry extension;

- Basic agricultural extension.
