Minimum Knowledge Requirements for Intermediate-Level Forestry Officers

On December 28, 2018, Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH issued by BLDTBXH stipulates the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from intermediate level, college level in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary.

Under the provisions of the minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that learners achieve after graduating from intermediate, college-level forestry management programs issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners achieve after graduating from the intermediate-level forestry management program is as follows:

- Outline basic knowledge about the ecosystem for the conservation and sustainable development of forest resources;

- Describe and clearly understand the role of law propaganda in forest protection management;

- Present basic knowledge on forestry construction and development;

- Present knowledge on principles and technical measures applied to effectively carry out forest resource investigation and monitoring tasks;

- State the structure and usage of tools and equipment serving forest resource investigation, monitoring, and protection tasks;

- Present basic knowledge on the steps to handle administrative violations in forest protection management and forestry product management;

- Present some knowledge on the customs and traditions of certain ethnic groups in Vietnam;

- Present some content on the management and use of weapons, support tools, self-defense martial arts, and personal defense when performing tasks;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education, and informatics according to regulations.
