Minimum Knowledge of the Artificial Board Production Technology Industry at the Intermediate Level

From February 10, 2019, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs stipulating the minimum knowledge volume, competency requirements that students must achieve after graduating from intermediate level and college level in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technologies will take effect.

In the Regulation on Minimum Knowledge Volume, Competency Requirements that Learners Must Achieve After Graduating from Intermediate and College Levels in the Artificial Board Production Technology Sector issued together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that learners must achieve after graduating in the artificial board production technology sector at the intermediate level is as follows:

- Recognize and select appropriate materials according to the production requirements of chips, fibers, laminated strips, and thin boards;

- Describe the structure of wood, its characteristics, essential properties, and the methods for selecting wood materials in artificial board production;

- Describe and analyze the characteristics and factors affecting materials used for producing chips, fibers, laminated strips, and thin boards;

- Identify the characteristics, uses, and requirements of adhesives and additives used in the production of chipboard, fiberboard, laminated board, and plywood;

- Apply the method of calculating material quantities according to order specifications;

- Describe the production process of various types of artificial boards: chipboard, fiberboard, laminated board, and plywood;

- Describe the features and uses of measuring and inspection tools used in the production and quality control of artificial board products;

- Explain the structure, operating principles, features, uses, and operational processes of machinery and equipment used in the production and quality checking of artificial board products and the method for preserving finished artificial boards;

- Explain the routine maintenance processes of tools, machinery, and equipment used in the production and quality checking of artificial board products;

- Evaluate the quality of various types of artificial boards: chipboard, fiberboard, laminated board, and plywood according to TCVN;

- Present basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense, security, and physical education as prescribed.
