Minimum Knowledge After Graduating from Technical College in Rubber Tree Engineering

Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the minimum amount of knowledge and the competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation from intermediate and college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary science, issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on December 28, 2018.

According to the Regulation on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduation from the secondary and college levels in the rubber tree technical field, issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the minimum knowledge that graduates of the secondary vocational level in the rubber tree technical field must achieve is as follows:

- Be able to describe some basic physiological activities of the tree and the relationships between these life activities and external conditions;

- Be able to describe the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the soil;

- Be able to describe the steps in the rubber tree propagation process;

- Be able to describe harmful agents, symptoms, characteristics of pest development, and pest control measures;

- Be able to identify the steps in the process of organizing rubber tree production at production facilities and households;

- Be able to describe the process of selecting, producing seeds, plant protection work, and experimental layout methods;

- Be able to describe the issue of effective and sustainable land use in tropical monsoon conditions, the reasonable use of different types of fertilizers and lime, biological fertilizers, mineral fertilizers related to the productivity and quality of rubber plantations, soil fertility, and environmental safety;

- Be able to describe the principles and measures of labor safety in rubber plantations;

- Be able to describe basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law, national defense and security, physical education according to regulations.

Details are regulated in Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, effective from February 10, 2019.
