Method of Certification of Conformity for Suspended Work Platforms

Circular 36/2013/TT-BLDTBXH stipulates the Certification of conformity for suspended working platforms as follows:

- The certification of conformity for domestically manufactured suspended working platforms or their accessories is carried out under method 5: typical sample testing and production process evaluation; supervised through sample testing at the production site or in the market combined with the production process evaluation if they are mass-produced;

- For individually manufactured suspended working platforms, the certification of conformity is carried out under method 8: testing or inspection of the entire product batch (in Appendix II of the Regulation on announcement of standard conformity, announcement of technical regulation conformity, and methods of conformity assessment with standards, and technical regulations issued together with **[Circular 28/2012/TT-BKHCN](https://lawnet.vn/vb/thong-tu-28-2012-tt-bkhcn-quy-dinh-cong-bo-hop-chuan-cong-bo-hop-quy-phuong-thuc-28571.html)**.- Domestically manufactured suspended working platforms must declare conformity in accordance with the provisions of BS EN 1808:1999 based on the certification of conformity by a Conformity Certification Organization designated by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

- The certification of conformity for imported suspended working platforms or their accessories is carried out under method 7: testing, evaluating product batches if they are imported in bulk;

- If imported individually, the certification of conformity is carried out under method 8: testing or inspecting the entire product batch (in Appendix II of the Regulation on announcement of standard conformity, announcement of technical regulation conformity, and methods of conformity assessment with standards, and technical regulations issued together with [**Circular 28/2012/TT-BKHCN**](https://lawnet.vn/vb/thong-tu-28-2012-tt-bkhcn-quy-dinh-cong-bo-hop-chuan-cong-bo-hop-quy-phuong-thuc-28571.html).

Note: The certification of conformity must be performed by a Conformity Certification Organization designated by the Department of Work Safety, Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
