On December 28, 2018, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) issued Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that students must achieve upon graduation from intermediate or college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary science.

According to the provisions on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the associate and college levels of the Forest Resource Management major, issued together with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is specified that after graduating with an associate degree in Forest Resource Management, learners will have the competencies to meet the requirements for the following job positions in the industry:
- Marking boundaries of different types of forests;- Forest pest and disease control;- Forest fire prevention and firefighting;- Techniques for caring for forest animals;- Planting and caring for forests;- Exploiting and processing forest products.
Additionally, it also stipulates that with the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve after graduating from the Associate Degree in Forest Resource Management, they can continue to develop at higher levels. Graduates will have the ability to self-study, update scientific and technological advances within the industry to enhance their qualifications or pursue further education at higher levels in the same major, related majors, or in the same training field.
