International cooperation in Red Cross activities shall be carried out based on respect for independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, equality, in accordance with the provisions of Vietnamese law and international law on Red Cross activities.
According to the provisions in Article 24 of the Law on Red Cross Activities 2008, the international cooperation activities in Red Cross include:
Firstly, building and implementing programs and projects related to Red Cross activities.
Secondly, implementing international duties of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
Thirdly, exchanging information and experiences about Red Cross activities.
Fourthly, training and fostering individuals conducting Red Cross activities.
Fifthly, signing, joining, and implementing international treaties and agreements on Red Cross activities.
