On February 10, 2019, Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs took effect, stipulating the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate level and college level in fields of materials, metallurgy, production, and other technical technology industries.

According to the provisions on the minimum knowledge volume and competency requirements that learners achieve after graduating at intermediate level, college level in the field, the profession of artificial board production technology promulgated together with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that artificial board production technology at intermediate level is a field/profession that uses wood and adhesives as the main raw materials to produce artificial boards used in furniture manufacturing and construction, meeting the level 4 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
The production process is carried out according to national and international standards, including the following tasks: producing chips, pressing chipboard; producing fibers, pressing fiberboard; producing assembled board blanks; producing composite boards, assembling boards; producing thin boards, pressing plywood.
In the process of producing various types of artificial boards, many machines, equipment, and tools from simple to complex are used in each production stage. Due to the specific characteristic that artificial boards are the primary raw materials for many other production fields, the production process applies numerous technical, environmental, and modern technologies from both domestic and foreign sources.
Graduates of the intermediate-level Artificial Board Production Technology field/profession will be able to proactively organize teamwork and manage assigned production workshops, shifts, and production teams; have responsibility and labor discipline, strictly adhering to the regulations in the production process; have sufficient health, firm mentality, and quick reactions to ensure safety in labor...
Note that the minimum knowledge volume is 1,500 hours (equivalent to 55 credits).
