Duties of the Unit Organizing the Appraisal of General Education Programs

Circular 14/2017/TT-BGDDT was issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on June 6, 2017, regulating the organization and activities of the National Council for Appraising General Education Programs. This document came into effect on July 22, 2017.

The Department of Secondary Education and the Department of Primary Education are the presiding agencies in cooperation with related units to assist the Minister in organizing the program appraisal and performing the following tasks:

- Propose a list of members for the Appraisal Council.- Prepare conditions regarding funding and physical facilities to support the activities of the Appraisal Council.- Guide the Appraisal Council in fulfilling the purpose and requirements of the appraisal.- Receive and distribute the program draft to each member of the Appraisal Council; receive records and proposals, and recommendations from the Appraisal Council for the Minister's review and decision.- Submit to the Minister of Education and Training for review and decision on the program issuance.- Keep drafts, meeting minutes of the Appraisal Council, and related documents during the appraisal organization process and transfer them to the Ministry of Education and Training's archive department after the Appraisal Council completes its tasks for storage according to regulations.
