This is one of the contents stipulated in Circular 26/2018/TT-BGDDT issued by the Ministry of Education and Training on October 8, 2018.
Accordingly, Circular 26 stipulates the duties of core preschool teachers as follows:
- Support and advise colleagues in preschool educational institutions or other preschool educational institutions in the area on issues related to ensuring and improving the quality of childcare and education; compile training materials, guides (for teachers, parents, guardians); organize practical guidance for students; connect with lecturers in preschool education departments to exchange knowledge on nurturing, caring, and educating children;- Guide and support colleagues in the school or other schools in the area regarding activities for developing and implementing school education plans; nurturing and health care plans; educational activities for children in groups or classes; implementing online teacher training courses; participating in training sessions to enhance professional capacity for the teaching staff in the school or other schools in the area; participate in training and teacher training sessions as required annually by the sector (district, provincial, or Ministry levels);- Advise and consult with direct management on the development of school education plans suitable to the specific conditions of the school, class, and the socioeconomic situation of the locality to ensure the goals and quality of childcare and education, and to improve the professional capacity of the teaching staff; participate in organizing and reporting at specialized conferences and professional activities of preschool educational institutions or other preschool educational institutions in the area.
