Circular 19/2016/TT-BYT was issued by the Ministry of Health on June 30, 2016, to specifically regulate the content of occupational hygiene management.
Accordingly, Circular 19 stipulates the content of occupational hygiene management at labor facilities, including:
- Establishing and updating the occupational hygiene records of the labor facility;- Monitoring the labor environment;- Conducting health examinations before job placement, periodic health examinations, occupational disease detection examinations, and periodic occupational disease examinations;- Controlling, preventing, and minimizing the impacts of harmful factors in the labor environment on health;- Implementing hygiene measures to prevent diseases, ensuring food safety, and enhancing health at the workplace;- Ensuring compliance with the requirements for sanitation and welfare facilities at the workplace as stipulated in Appendix 1 issued with this Circular;- Organizing first aid and accident rescue forces at the workplace (hereinafter referred to as first aid and rescue) and ensuring first aid and rescue equipment.
At the same time, Circular 19 also stipulates that annually, production and business labor facilities must develop content for occupational hygiene management and health management for workers within the occupational hygiene and safety plan for the facility.
