Circular 41: Information about Vietnam Green Label must be publicly disclosed

Currently, the eco-label in Circular 41/2013/TT-BTNMT is referred to as the Vietnam Green Label. Affixing the Vietnam Green Label is a voluntary activity and does not fall within the adjustment scope of the law on product labeling.

Disclosure of information related to the Vietnam Green Label must be carried out according to the guidance in Circular 41/2013/TT-BTNMT as follows:

- The registration procedures and detailed forms for the certification of the Vietnam Green Label are published under the Vietnam Green Label section, on the electronic information portal of the General Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (http://vea.gov.vn/VN/khoahoccongnghe/nhanxanh).- The General Department of Environment is responsible for publishing the Decision on the certification of the Vietnam Green Label for certified products in the Environmental Magazine, in promotional materials for the Vietnam Green Label, and on the electronic information portal of the General Department of Environment.- The decision to revoke the Vietnam Green Label certificate is sent to the violating enterprise, Vietnam Association for Standards & Consumer Protection, Vietnam Retailers Association, published on the electronic information portal of the General Department of Environment, and on mass media.

Thus, information related to the Vietnam Green Label is disclosed through several channels depending on the disclosure content, such as the Vietnam Green Label section, electronic information portal of the General Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Environmental Magazine, promotional materials for the Vietnam Green Label, etc.
