Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT: Standards for Aviation Personnel

To be specific, according to the guidelines stated in Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT, aviation personnel as specified in Clauses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT must meet the standards prescribed in specialized aviation legal documents concerning aircraft, aircraft operations, and flight management and assurance.

Aviation personnel as specified in Clause 13 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT must meet the following standards:

- Be a Vietnamese citizen aged 18 or older with a clear background, in good health, and have graduated from high school or higher;- Have no criminal record as prescribed by law; do not use drugs or stimulants;- Be licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for aviation security control.

Aviation personnel as specified in Clauses 14, 15, and 16 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT must meet the following standards:

- Be a Vietnamese or foreign citizen aged 18 or older with a clear background, in good health, and have graduated from high school or higher;- Have no criminal record as prescribed by law; do not use drugs or stimulants;- For aviation personnel as specified in Clause 14 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT, they must be licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam for operating and controlling aviation devices and vehicles in restricted areas of the airport;- For aviation personnel as specified in Clauses 15 and 16 of Article 6 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT, they must have a specialized aviation certificate as prescribed in Clause 1 of Article 9 of Circular 10/2018/TT-BGTVT.
