On February 10, 2019, Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH of BLDTBXH stipulating the minimum amount of knowledge and competency requirements that learners must achieve upon graduation at the intermediate and college levels in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fishery, and veterinary medicine will take effect.

In Regulation on the Minimum Knowledge Volume, Competency Requirements that Learners Must Achieve after Graduation at Secondary and College Levels in the Field of Veterinary Services, issued with Circular 52/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, it is stipulated that veterinary services at the college level is a field that involves the use of veterinary drugs, vaccines; use of veterinary equipment, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, extraction and preparation of semen, obstetrics practice, provision of veterinary services at livestock farms, agricultural and forestry science and technology service centers, communes/wards, agricultural extension work to meet Level 5 in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
Graduates can work in farms, livestock and poultry breeding enterprises, veterinary medicine, animal feed production; veterinary drug businesses, veterinary clinics, pet care services, agricultural service centers, research and technology transfer agencies in animal husbandry - veterinary medicine; state management agencies, administrative and non-business organizations, and other institutions related to veterinary medicine.
Note that the minimum knowledge volume is 2100 hours (equivalent to 75 credits).
