According to the regulations on the minimum volume of knowledge and competency requirements that learners need to achieve after graduating from intermediate and college levels in the technology of manufacturing rubber products, issued with Circular 46/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the technology of manufacturing rubber products at the college level is an industry and profession focused on producing rubber products used in industry, engineering, and daily life, such as: belts; conveyor belts; rubber pipes; rubber tires and tubes; various gaskets, seals, and rubber accessories; rubber mattresses, foam sheets; various films and rubber adhesives, etc., meeting level 5 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
These products are primarily manufactured from natural rubber or synthetic rubber and several types of additives and other chemicals.
Persons engaged in the Technology of manufacturing rubber products mainly perform tasks in the rubber product production line or participate in specific tasks at business establishments, R&D facilities engaged in experimental production of rubber products.
The primary duties of persons in this industry are: operating systems and equipment in the production line; identifying and handling common issues in the production process; maintaining machines and equipment in the line as required; using machines, equipment, and tools to check the quality of semi-finished and finished products; packaging and preserving products; ensuring safety, labor protection, and industrial hygiene to protect the working environment.
Additionally, persons in this profession can: improve techniques, apply technical advances to enhance work efficiency and labor productivity; participate in designing and experimenting to create new products; train and mentor lower-level workers; participate in training courses to improve professional and technical skills.
Please note that the minimum volume of knowledge is 2150 hours (equivalent to 75 credits).
