Circular 35/2008/TT-BTC stipulates the dossier for hull insurance for fishing vessels as follows:

- Application for financial support for hull insurance from fishermen, verified by the Commune-level People's Committee regarding legal residence and engagement in seafood exploitation activities or marine services (according to form No. 02 issued with this Circular).- A certified copy or verification by the Commune-level People's Committee of documents: registration of fishing vessel operation, ship inspection certificate, fishing license for fishing vessels, or business registration for service vessels.- Certificate of hull insurance valid for at least 3 months of the year requesting support.

For financial support for crew accident insurance: Fishermen establish the dossier as follows:

- Application for financial support for crew accident insurance, verified by the Commune-level People's Committee regarding legal residence and employment of labor under labor contract policies on fishing boats (according to form No. 02 issued with this Circular).- A copy of the labor contract between the crew member and the ship owner that is valid in the year of the support request.- A copy of the crew insurance certificate valid for at least 3 months of the year requesting support.

The request for support is carried out annually. Fishermen requesting support for hull insurance or crew accident insurance for any year must establish the dossier for that year (each year a support request must be made with a separate dossier).
