3 Requirements for Candidates Participating in the National Defense and Security Education Sports Competition

On September 28, 2018, the Ministry of Education and Training promulgated Circular 23/2018/TT-BGDDT on the Regulations of National Defense and Security Sports Competition in high schools.

Candidates participating in the National Defense and Security Education Sports Festival at high schools must meet the following requirements:

- Candidates must wear National Defense and Security Education attire, canvas shoes, hard or soft hats, and sports festival badges.- Candidates must be present before the festival day to undergo inspections and preparations; must be present 20 minutes before the competition time for the jury to conduct inspections; any candidate arriving late will lose the right to compete.- Candidates must strictly comply with the rules, regulations, and instructions of the festival organizers.

The school-level sports festival is held once a year, the provincial-level sports festival is held every two years, and the national-level sports festival is held every four years. The national sports festival is determined in the annual school year plan and in the beginning-of-year guide.
