08 activities using funds for conferring the titles "People's Artisan," "Excellent Artisan" (Illustration)

Decree 123/2014/ND-CP stipulates the funds for organizing the conferring of the titles "People's Artisan," "Excellent Artisan" to undertake the following activities:

- Developing and implementing the Plan of the Council for Conferring the titles "People's Artisan," "Excellent Artisan";- Examining and appraising the application dossiers;- Organizing community consultations at the local level or through professional associations;- Organizing the Council's sessions;- Publishing information about the Council's selection results on mass media to gather public opinions;- Conducting a press conference to announce the President's conferring decision;- Organizing the award ceremony;- Other related activities as prescribed by law.

Furthermore, the Decree also stipulates the funds for organizing the conferring of the titles "People's Artisan," "Excellent Artisan" and the accompanying reward as follows:

- The Ministry of Industry and Trade is responsible for allocating funds for the activities of the specialized Council at the Ministry level, the State Council, organizing the award ceremony, and other related costs as prescribed by law;

- The Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally-run city (hereinafter collectively referred to as the provincial level) is responsible for allocating funds for the activities of the provincial level Council, the reward accompanying the titles "People's Artisan," "Excellent Artisan" and other related costs as prescribed by law.
