Based on Article 39 on technical regulations and economic-technical norms on the work of receiving, storing, preserving and providing information and data on natural resources and environment by Circular No. 03/2022/TT-BTNMT (effective from April 15, 2022), the procedure for providing information and data in the field of natural resources and environment via the direct method is as follows:
- Implementation Steps
a) Receiving requests and preparing documents for providing information and materials;
b) Preparing information and materials as requested:
- Map documents, geographic information documents;
- Other related documents;
- Extracting and compiling information from archived documents.
c) Handing over documents to the user;
d) Summarizing and reporting the status of information and document provision.
- Products
a) Document handover minutes (form BM.01);
b) Report on the status of collection, provision of information, data on natural resources and environment (form BM.30).

Based on Article 40 of these regulations, the procedure for providing information and data in the field of natural resources and environment via the online method is as follows:

- Other related documents;
- Extracting and compiling information from archived documents.
c) Sending information and materials through the electronic information system;
d) Storing documents for providing information and materials.
