List of 117 plant quarantine objects of Vietnam from September 29, 2023
On August 15, 2023, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issued the Circular 04/2023/TT-BNNPTNT promulgating the list of objects subject to plant quarantine of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Circular 04/2023/TT-BNNPTNT stipulates that from September 29, 2023, the subjects of plant quarantine include 02 groups:
Group 1: Pests that pose a risk of causing serious damage to plants, not yet present in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (112 organisms).
Group 2: Pests with the risk of causing serious damage to plants, narrowly distributed in the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (5 organisms).
From September 29, 2023, what organisms have the potential to cause serious damage to plants, which have not yet been in the territory of Vietnam?
According to the list of objects subject to plant quarantine of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam promulgated together with Circular 04/2023/TT-BNNPTNT, there are 112 harmful organisms that pose a risk of causing serious damage to plants, which have not been present in the territory of Vietnam including:
