Analysis Bulletin on Oceanographic Trends: Does it Belong to the Category of Medium-Term Oceanographic Forecast and Warning Bulletin?

Translation:

Does the marine trend analysis bulletin fall under the marine forecast and warning bulletin with a medium-term period? I am working in television broadcasting and preparing to produce a medium-term marine forecast and warning bulletin. I would like to ask whether the marine trend analysis bulletin falls under the medium-term marine forecast and warning bulletin? What content does the long-term marine forecast and warning bulletin include? Thank you!

Does the marine trend analysis bulletin belong to the medium-term marine forecast and warning bulletin?

According to Clause 3, Article 11 of Circular 06/2016/TT-BTNMT, the regulations on marine forecast and warning bulletins are as follows:

  1. Medium-term marine forecast and warning bulletins include the following types of bulletins:

a) Marine trend analysis bulletin: The content of the bulletin must include at least information on the description of the current status, development, and trend forecast of marine elements in a specific sea area within the forecast period;

b) Marine forecast and warning bulletin: Detailed forecast of marine elements and phenomena in the forecasted sea area or specific coastal area, and warnings of potentially dangerous marine phenomena during the forecast period. The content of the bulletin must include at least information on the description of the current status, development, level or time of occurrence, and high water levels; direction and height of ocean waves; the direction and velocity of ocean currents on the surface water layer.

Thus, according to the current legal regulations, the marine trend analysis bulletin belongs to the medium-term marine forecast and warning bulletin.

What does the long-term marine forecast and warning bulletin include?

According to Clause 4, Article 11 of Circular 06/2016/TT-BTNMT, the regulations on long-term marine forecast and warning bulletins are as follows:4. Long-term marine forecast and warning bulletin: Assessment of tidal trend changes and the possible occurrence of tidal surges in specific sea areas within the forecast period. The content of the bulletin must include at least information on trend changes, time of occurrence, and high water levels.

Thus, according to current regulations, the long-term marine forecast and warning bulletin must meet the conditions mentioned above.

Respectfully!
