I. Silent reading of the following text:
LETTER A AND FRIENDS
I am letter A. I have been famous for a long time. Whenever my name is mentioned, everyone knows. When people are extremely happy, they usually shout my name. When surprised or amazed, they also call my name.
I am at the top of the Vietnamese alphabet. In the alphabets of many countries, I am also respected and positioned at the beginning. Every year, on the school opening day, many children become familiar with me first.
I always dream of creating a book all by myself. But then I realized that if I am alone, I cannot say anything. A book entirely made up of the letter A cannot be the book that everyone wants to read. To have a good book, I need the help of friends B, C, D, D, E,...
We always accompany each other and need each other on the pages of books. Young friends, please meet us every day!
