1. Criteria for considering and appointing positions for non-commissioned officers and cadets in the military in Vietnam

Criteria for considering and appointing positions for non-commissioned officers and cadets in the military according to Article 10 of Circular 07/2016/TT-BQP are as follows:

- Meets political standards and successfully completes assigned responsibilities and tasks.

- Able to complete responsibilities and tasks when appointed to a new position.

- For reserve soldiers: they have been arranged and appointed to the correct payroll position in the reserve unit.

2. Authority to appoint, demote, and dismiss non-commissioned officers and cadets in the military in Vietnam

The authority to appoint positions, demote, and dismiss non-commissioned officers and cadets in the military according to Article 9 of Circular 07/2016/TT-BQP is as follows:

* For non-commissioned officers and active duty cadets

- Regiment Commanders, Brigade Commanders, and equivalent positions decide to appoint, demote, and dismiss Platoon Commanders and equivalent positions for non-commissioned officers and cadets under their authority;

- Division commander and equivalent positions decide to appoint, demote, and dismiss the deputy platoon leader and equivalent positions for non-commissioned officers under their authority.

* For non-commissioned officers and reserve cadets

- District-level Military Command Post Commanders decide to appoint, demote, and dismiss platoon leaders and equivalent positions for non-commissioned officers, reserve cadets registered to serve in the reserve ranks have been arranged and assigned to reserve units;

- Commanders of Military Command Posts at the provincial level decide to appoint, demote, and dismiss Deputy Platoon Commanders and equivalent positions.
For non-commissioned reserve officers who register to serve in the reserve ranks, they have been arranged and assigned to reserve units.

3. Equivalent positions of non-commissioned officers and cadets in the army in Vietnam

Equivalent positions of non-commissioned officers and cadets in the military according to Article 11 of Circular 07/2016/TT-BQP are as follows:

* Position equivalent to Deputy Platoon Leader

- Deputy Commander of the Infantry Reconnaissance Detachment;

- Deputy Chief of Special Forces;

- Deputy Chief of reconnaissance team to infiltrate artillery;

- Deputy Captain of Teams with an organization equivalent to Platoon level;

- Deputy Workshop Chief, Deputy Workshop Chief, Deputy Station Chief of workshops, workshops, and stations with an organization equivalent to Platoon level;

- Deputy warehouse and deputy warehouse division of warehouses and warehouse divisions with an organization equivalent to Platoon level;

- Non-commissioned officers with technical and professional expertise with intermediate level or higher are properly staffed.

* Position equivalent to Platoon Leader

- Battery commander;

- Vehicle commander (tank, armored vehicle, self-propelled artillery, chemical);

- Radio commander (Radio 15w; information vehicle; information; air defense observation);

- Station chief, military post information officer;

- Team leader (Special forces; artillery deep reconnaissance; decoding and imaging techniques; tie testing; food processing); teams under Platoon level units and equivalent to Platoon or higher;

- Surveyor (Missile control (crew 1); Missile crew (crew 1); Radar (crew 1); Electronic warfare);

- Non-commissioned officers with technical and professional expertise with elementary level are properly staffed.

* Position equivalent to Deputy Platoon Leader

- Deputy Battery Commander;

- Deputy Chief of Special Forces;

- Deputy Station Chief, Military Post Information Officer;

- Team leader (Guards, Infantry, Reconnaissance, Low Altitude Air Defense Missile);

- Head of the warehouse, repair, construction, and service team;

- Team leaders are cadets with technical expertise and are properly staffed.
