Vietnam: Support people to overcome the consequences of floods in the Central and Central Highlands regions

Recently, the State Bank of Vietnam has issued the Official Dispatch No. 7751/NHNN-TD on supporting people to overcome the consequences of floods in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

In order to promptly support people to overcome difficulties and restore production and business, in Official Dispatch No. 7751/NHNN-TD, the State Bank of Vietnam requested credit institutions to immediately implement the following contents:

- Direct branches and transaction offices to promptly review and summarize losses of customers who are borrowing capital to promptly apply support measures and remove difficulties for customers;

- Mobilize officers, staff and employees of the unit to support and share difficulties; organize visits and encouragements for the affected families, especially those with loss of life, poor households, policy households, ethnic minority households to overcome difficulties, restore production export; carry out social security work for the families who have suffered loss of life and property, the areas that are heavily affected by this natural disaster;
