Vietnam's amendments to National Technical Regulation on Roadside Station from October 5, 2024

According to the Circular, Amendment No. 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT has amended several regulations of QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT.

Amendment No. 01:2024 QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT is compiled by the Department for Roads of Vietnam, presented by the Science, Technology and Environment Department, appraised by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, and promulgated by the Minister of Transport of Vietnam together with Circular No. 09/2024/TT-BGTVT dated April 5, 2024.  

This Regulation is compiled based on: 

- National Technical Regulation QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT;

- The following National Technical Standards and Regulations: QCVN 01:2020/BCT, QCVN 01-1:2018/BYT, QCXDVN 05:2008/BXD, QCVN 06:2022/BXD, QCVN 10:2014/BXD, TCVN 4319:2012, and TCVN 5687:2010.

Previously, QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT was compiled by the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam, appraised by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, and promulgated by the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam together with Circular No. 48/2012/TT-BGTVT dated November 15, 2012. 

QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT provides for physical facility conditions and mandatory requirements to be complied with in roadside station investment, construction, renovation, or upgrade.

QCVN 43:2012/BGTVT applies to organizations and individuals engaging in roadside station investment, construction, renovation, upgrade, management, and utilization; agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in the use of services, inspection, standardization of the disclosure of roadside stations eligible for operation, and planning for the system of roadside stations in Vietnam.

Attention: Roadside stations disclosed and put into operation before October 5, 2024 shall have their repair and upgrade of items completed in compliance with the requirements of this Regulation before January 1, 2027.
