Vietnam’s regulation on reports on ATM operations from July 1, 2024 

According to the Circular, amendments to the regulation on reports on ATM operations are as follows: 

- Payment service providers and branches of the State Bank of Vietnam in areas where ATMs are installed and implemented shall submit reports to the State Bank of Vietnam (through the Payment Department) as follows: 

+ Submit reports according to regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam on regulations on statistical reports applicable to credit institutions and foreign bank branches and upon requests from competent authorities as prescribed by laws; 

- Submit reports on ATM operations in the first 6 months of the year and annual reports as follows: 

+ Methods of submitting and receiving reports: electronic reports submitted through the State Bank of Vietnam’s report system. 

+ Time to finalize data: from December 15 of the year before the reporting period to June 14 of the reporting period regarding 6-month reports and from December 15 of the year before the reporting period to December 14 of the reporting period for annual reports. 

+ Report submission deadline: 6-month reports shall be submitted no later than July 15 of the reporting year, and annual reports shall be submitted no later than January 15 of the following year. 

+ Report outlines shall follow Form No. 4 (for payment service providers) and Form No. 5 (for branches of the State Bank of Vietnam) promulgated together with Circular No. 21/2023/TT-NHNN.
