To strengthen Party's leadership over the Vietnam Bar Association

On July 1, 2022, the Central Committee of Vietnam issued Directive 14-CT/TW on continuing to strengthen the Party's leadership over the Vietnam Bar Association in the new situation.

According to the Directive in Vietnam, in order to continue strengthening the Party's leadership over the Vietnam Bar Association in the new situation, the Politburo requires all levels of Party committees and organizations to well perform the following tasks:

- Party committees and organizations at all levels deeply grasp and raise awareness of the position, role, and responsibilities of the Vietnam Lawyers Association as a political-social-professional organization that operates under the leadership of the Party and the State and is a member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Party and State assign tasks to the Vietnam Bar Association in order to promote the Association at all levels and its members to actively contribute to the construction and development of the country; building a socialist Vietnam ruled by the law of the people, by the people, for the people, protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.

- Continue to consolidate, consolidate, and build the Vietnam Lawyers Association into an increasingly strong organization in terms of organization.

Regularly carry out the tasks of building, fostering, educating and training cadres and members in political ideology, moral quality, professional and professional capacity.

Protect internal politics by inspecting and supervising members of the organization and their activities.

- Strongly renovate the content and mode of operation of the Lawyers Association, focusing on the grassroots, strictly implementing the principles, purposes, and charter of the Association; promote the application of information technology in leadership, direction, and organization of activities of the Association at all levels.
