Supplementing several powers of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam in state management of land

Decree No. 36/2017/NĐ-CP of Vietnam stipulates the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Supplementing some tasks and powers of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam in state management of land such as:

- To guide land allocation for real estate market development under land use master plans and plans;

- To elaborate and submit to competent agencies for approval a regular and irregular land statistics;

- To elaborate and submit to competent agencies for approval a master plan on survey and assessment of land.

Moreover, the organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam is also changed. To be specific:

- Consolidating the Planning Department and the Finance Department into the Department of Planning - Finance;

- Separating the Department of Hydrometeorology and Climate Change into:

+ General Department of Hydrometeorology;

+ Department of Climate Change.

- Supplementing the Training and Re-training School for Natural Resources and Environment Cadres;

- Abolishing the National Centre for Hydrometeorological Forecasting.
