To strengthen law propaganda, popularization and education on handling administrative violations in Vietnam

In 2024, to strengthen law propaganda, popularization and education on handling administrative violations in Vietnam, the following actions will be taken:

(1) Continuously renew the content and forms of law propaganda, popularization and education on handling administrative violations, ensuring relevance to the localities, areas, and target audience.

Focus on popularizing legislative documents on handling administrative violations in the fields of security, order, and other related areas; regulations on the rights and obligations of citizens; the situation of crimes and violations of laws on security, order, and the responsibilities of the people in participating in the fight against crimes and violations of laws on security, order...

Diversify the forms of law propaganda, popularization and education on handling administrative violations: oral propaganda; propaganda through the system of grassroots media, printed newspapers, visual media, social media; through law education activities in schools; enhance the use of law bookshelves; law club activities; organize competitions to promote understanding of laws; implement commitments from families to not have members who violate laws; establish bright spots in law enforcement in the community; organize surveys to understand the information needs, law popularization and education on handling administrative violations in the localities, areas...

In addition, actively integrate law propaganda and popularization on handling administrative violations for officers, and the people during the implementation of tasks by the People's Public security Force.

- Implementing agencies: V03 and Public security units, localities.

- Time of implementation: throughout 2024.

(2) The press and media agencies of the People's Public Security Force must exert their proactive and active roles in law propaganda and popularization on handling administrative violations for officers, soldiers, and the people, contributing to the fight against crimes and violations of laws on security, order. Build and improve the quality of sections and programs for law propaganda and popularization on handling administrative violations on mass media.

- Implementing agency: X04 takes the lead, coordinates with V03, V01, V04, police academies, the People's Public security units, and localities.

- Time of implementation: throughout 2024.

Requirements for law propaganda, popularization, and education on handling administrative violations in Vietnam

- Determine responsibilities and assign specific tasks to each unit in propaganda, popularization, training in legal skills and knowledge of handling administrative violations; enhance the advisory role of the legal organization in the units under the Ministry, Public security Force of province and centrally-run cities in Vietnam.

Improve the professional level, competence, skills, and knowledge of officers and soldiers of the People's Public security Force in handling administrative violations, providing advice in the implementation of management tasks, monitoring the enforcement of laws on handling administrative violations.

- Organize and implement the enforcement of laws on handling administrative violations strictly and effectively within the assigned geographical areas and fields of management.

Fully implement the action motto of the People's Public security Force in 2024: “Xây dựng Công an nhân dân thật sự trong sạch, vững mạnh, chính quy, tinh nhuệ, hiện đại” ("Building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, agile, and modern People's Police Force").
