Sudden Reward for Individuals Preventing Crime is 5 Million VND

This is the prominent content of Decision 04/2019/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam regarding the establishment, management, and use of the Fund for Crime Prevention and Control.

The Crime Prevention Fund shall be used for the following purposes:

- Extraordinary rewards for individuals and collectives with exceptional achievements in crime and drug prevention. The maximum reward for an individual is 5 million VND/person/reward and for a collective is 20 million VND/collective/reward;- Support for compensation and extraordinary allowances for families and individuals directly participating in crime and drug prevention who suffer damage to life, health, and property.

The Crime Prevention Fund is formed from the following sources:

- The remaining balance from previously established Crime Prevention Funds;- Capital support from the central budget;- Voluntary contributions from lawful sources of organizations and individuals both domestic and foreign.
