New regulation of Vietnam on amendments to applications for licenses to transport photographic works abroad for exhibitions 

An organization or individual transporting photographic works from Vietnam to a photography exhibition abroad shall submit 1 application for a license to a competent state authority prescribed by regulations in person or by post or online. An application includes:

- An organization or individual transporting photographic works from Vietnam to a photography exhibition abroad shall submit 1 application for a license to a competent state authority prescribed by regulations in person, by post, or online. An application includes:

- List of photographic works expressed in Vietnamese (including ordinal numbers and names of photographic works, and names of photographers, materials, sizes, quantity);

- Photographic works shown in the photography exhibition shall be enclosed with photographic notes. Such photographic works must be printed on papers sized at least 13 x 18 cm or recorded on CDs (in case they are submitted in person or by post), in JPG or PDF format (in case they are submitted online);

- The letter of invitation, notice, photo books (if any), written agreement or contract with the foreign partner which has been translated into Vietnamese;

- With regard to a photographic work, which contains a nude or semi-nude image of an identified person, a written agreement made between the photographer and that person on photographic contents, time, and scope of announcement of that photographic work is required.

Competence in licensing transport of photographic works abroad for exhibitions 

- The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam shall license activities of transporting photographic works from Vietnam to photography exhibitions abroad that represent Vietnam; 

- Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism/Departments of Culture and Sports shall license activities of transporting photographic works from Vietnam to photography exhibitions abroad outside of the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.
