Issuance of the plan for monitoring the implementation of laws in key inter-disciplinary areas in 2024 in Vietnam

The purpose and requirements of the Monitoring Plan for the Implementation of Laws in Key, Interdisciplinary Areas for the Year 2024 in Vietnam are stipulated as follows:

(1) Purpose:

- To carry out the primary tasks and solutions of the Government of Vietnam and relevant agencies as assigned by the National Assembly in Article 3 of Resolution 105/2023/QH15 on the Socio-Economic Development Plan for 2024, which was passed on November 09, 2023, at the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly.

- To organize and implement synchronously and comprehensively the provisions of Decree 59/2012/ND-CP.

- To objectively consider and evaluate the current situation of law implementation in key, interdisciplinary areas nationwide to promptly identify existing issues, obstacles, and shortcomings and to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of law enforcement and improve the legal system.

(2) Requirements:

- To fully comply with the principles, scope of responsibilities, content, and forms of monitoring law implementation as stipulated in Decree 59/2012/ND-CP.

- To ensure the constant leadership and direction of the Government of Vietnam and the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam in the process of monitoring law implementation.

- To clearly define the specific content of the work, deadlines for completion, and responsibilities of ministries, central authorities, and local authorities in carrying out the assigned tasks.

- To ensure close coordination between ministries, central authorities, local authorities, and related agencies and units; to mobilize the participation of political-social organizations, organizations, and individuals in monitoring law implementation.
