Improving the efficiency of judgment enforcement in corruption and economic cases in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 2558/QĐ-BTP on the promulgation of the Ministry of Justice's key work program in the field of civil judgment enforcement and administrative judgment execution monitoring in 2021.

According to the Decision No. 2558/QĐ-BTP of the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam, solutions to improve the efficiency of judgment enforcement in corruption, economic and bank credit cases are specifically guided as follows:

- Regularly grasp and focus on drastically implementing the recovery of assets appropriated and lost in corruption and economic cases as required in the resolutions and conclusions of the Party and the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of these cases in order to promptly have directions to solve and remove difficulties as well as limit errors and negatives that may occur;

- Focusing on directing and coordinating the effective implementation of key civil judgment cases and cases related to debt recovery of credit institutions; in which, continue to effectively implement Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 of the National Assembly of Vietnam;

- Strengthen coordination with competent agencies in investigating, prosecuting, adjudicating, natural resources and environment, and banks in implementing key cases.
