Guidance on Payment for Health Insurance Covered Medications
The Ministry of Health has just issued Official Dispatch 7086/BYT-BH regarding the guidance on the settlement of payment for health insurance-covered medications.

Resolution of payment for health insurance-covered drugs is as follows:
- Drugs used up to the issuance date of this Official Dispatch shall be paid for if the prescription aligns with the indications in the approved drug registration dossier or according to the treatment guidelines of the Ministry of Health or the hospital's treatment protocols;- Drugs not yet used must be administered in accordance with the guidance provided in Circular 40/2014/TT-BYT and will only be paid for with indications that match those registered in the approved dossier.
