Contents of Plan for implementing the Law on the Force of Participating in Security and Order Protection at the Grassroots Level 2023 in Vietnam

The Prime Minister of Vietnam has issued the Plan to implement the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023 with the following contents:

- Organize propaganda, dissemination, and legal education about the forces participating in the protection of security and order at the grassroots level.

- Organize training and retraining for officers and soldiers of the police units and localities related to the implementation of the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023.

- Compile materials to serve the dissemination of the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023 and the detailed regulatory documents for the implementation of the Law.

- Review legal normative documents.

- Develop regulatory documents detailing the contents regulated in the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023.

- Develop a plan to consolidate and unify the organization of forces participating in the protection of security and order at the grassroots level according to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 14 of the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023 (consolidate and unify the forces protecting civil defense, semi-professional commune police being continued to be used, and the head and deputy head of the civil defense team) ensuring the organization and implementation in a synchronized and uniform manner at the same time the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023 comes into effect from July 1, 2024.

- Organize the inspection of the implementation of the Law on Forces Participating in the Protection of Security and Order at Grassroots Level 2023 and the detailed regulatory documents for the implementation of the Law.
