Amendments to Regulations on Telecommunication Number Storage Fees

The Ministry of Finance has recently issued Circular 60/2016/TT-BTC amending Circular 202/2013/TT-BTC which stipulates the fee rates, collection policies, submission, and management of the distribution fees and usage fees for telecommunications number resources.

Amendment to Clause 2, Article 5 of Circular 202/2013/TT-BTC as follows:

- 90% of the collected telecommunication number storage usage fees will be used to cover the expenses for the fee collection and usage activities of the fee-collecting agency according to the provisions of Circular 188/2011/TT-BTC.

- The remaining 10% of the collected fees will be submitted to the state budget.

These provisions will be applied until the end of December 31, 2016, and starting from 2017, they will comply with the Law on Fees and Charges and the documents detailing the implementation of the Law on Fees and Charges.

Circular 60/2016/TT-BTC takes effect from May 19, 2016, and applies to the fiscal year 2016.
