10 content of foreign affairs of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam from November 18, 2020

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training (Hanoi, Vietnam) issued Decision 3767/QD-BGDDT promulgating the regulations on the management of foreign affairs of the Ministry of Education and Training (Hanoi, Vietnam).

The units and individuals under the Ministry of Education and Training (Hanoi, Vietnam)  conduct the following foreign affairs with relevant organizations and individuals:

- Develop annual plans for foreign affairs and coordinate foreign affairs;

- Negotiate, sign, and implement international treaties and agreements;

- Implement schemes, projects, programs, plans, and international cooperation activities of the Ministry;

- Mobilize and coordinate foreign sources of funding, including official development assistance (ODA), foreign non-governmental support, and international cooperation funding sources within programs and projects managed by other ministries and central authorities or foreign partners within the education and training sector;

- Organize or participate in organizing conferences, training sessions, meetings, receptions, workshops, forums, exhibitions with the participation or sponsorship of foreign partners;

- Welcome, bid farewell, and work with foreign partners (incoming delegations);

- Organize delegations for overseas business trips (outgoing delegations);

- Communicate with foreign partners in writing;

- Foreign affairs protocol;

- Reward foreign organizations and individuals.

More details can be found in Decision 3767/QD-BGDDT, which comes into force in Vietnam from November 18, 2020.
