Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 157/2018/ND-CP stipulating regional minimum wages for employees working under labor contracts.

Accordingly, the regional minimum wage applicable in 2019 is stipulated as follows:
- The amount of VND 4,180,000/month applies to enterprises in Region I (an increase of VND 200,000 compared to the current regulation);
- The amount of VND 3,710,000/month applies to enterprises in Region II (an increase of VND 180,000 compared to the current regulation);
- The amount of VND 3,250,000/month applies to enterprises in Region III (an increase of VND 160,000 compared to the current regulation);
- The amount of VND 2,920,000/month applies to enterprises in Region IV (an increase of VND 160,000 compared to the current regulation).
