Compilation of 17 Important Documents Passed by the National Assembly at the 7th Session

According to the content of Resolution 84, at the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly, the National Assembly passed the following 17 important documents:

- Passed 07 Laws, including:

♦ Education Law;

♦ Architecture Law;

♦ Tax Management Law;

♦ Public Investment Law;

♦ Law on the Execution of Criminal Judgments;

♦ Law on Prevention and Control of Alcohol Harm;

♦ Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Insurance Business and the Law on Intellectual Property.

- Passed 10 Resolutions, including:

♦ Resolution 80/2019/QH14 on joining Convention 98 of the International Labor Organization concerning the Application of the Principles of the Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining;

♦ Resolution 78/2019/QH14 on the Legislative and Ordinance Building Program in 2020, adjusting the Legislative and Ordinance Building Program in 2019;

♦ Resolution approving the state budget finalization for 2017;

♦ Resolution 75/2019/QH14 adding an article to Resolution 81/2014/QH13 dated November 24, 2014 of the National Assembly on the implementation of the Law on Organization of the People's Court;

♦ Resolution 83/2019/QH14 on the questioning activities at the 7th session, 14th National Assembly;

♦ Resolution on continuing to improve and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on planning, management, and use of urban land;

♦ Resolution 76/2019/QH14 on the Supervision Program of the National Assembly in 2020;

♦ Resolution establishing a Supervision Delegation on “The implementation of policies and laws on the prevention and combat of child abuse”;

♦ Resolution approving the proposal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on the appointment of Judges of the Supreme People's Court and the Resolution of the 7th session, 14th National Assembly.

Additionally, at this session, the National Assembly also gave opinions on the following 09 draft laws:

♦ Securities Law (amended);

♦ Library Law;

♦ Law on Civil Defense Forces;

♦ Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces (amended);

♦ Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens;

♦ Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Organization of the Government of Vietnam and the Law on Organization of Local Government;

♦ Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Cadres, Civil Servants, and the Law on Public Employees;

♦ Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on State Audit;

♦ Labor Code (amended).
