Vietnam: Summary of specimens of certificates and registers of technical and environmental safety issued to ships

Circular No. 25/2017/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam mentioned 24 specimens of certificates and registers of technical and environmental safety issued to ships, specifically as follows:

- The classification certificate;

- The certificate of compliance for single voyage;

- The certificate of postponement of maintenance, service or survey;

- The ship safety equipment certificate;

- The load line certificate;

- The tonnage certificate issued to ships under 24 m in length;

- The certificate for oil pollution prevention;

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of derricks, winches and their accessory gear;

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of derricks, winches and their accessory gear for operation in union purchase;

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of cranes or hoists and their accessory gear;

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of cargo lifts/cargo ramps and their accessory gear; 

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of loose gear;

- The certificate of test and thorough examination of wire rope;

- The register of ship’s lifting appliances and items of loose gear;

- The passenger ship safety certificate;

- The high-speed craft safety certificate;

- The class maintenance certificate;

- The certificate of particular change;

- The certificate of ship design appraisal;

- The certificate of revised design appraisal; 

- The certificate of altered ship design appraisal;

- The certificate of revised design appraisal;

- The IMSBC Code fitness certificate;

- The certificate of compliance for the carriage of dangerous goods in package form or in bulk.
