Vietnam: Guidance on applications for issuance of the metrology verifier card

This content is mentioned in Circular No. 24/2013/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam on verification, calibration and testing of measuring instruments and measurement standards.

According to Circular No. 24/2013/TT-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam, the applicant shall prepare and submit one (01) set of application for issuance of the metrology verifier card, directly or by post, to the Directorate. The application includes:

- An application form (Specimen No. 12.DNCNKDVDL in the Appendix hereof).

- A resume (Specimen No. 13.SYLL in the Appendix hereof) of each verifier.

- A copy (certified by the designated verification service provider as a true copy of the original) of the verifier’s Level 4 of VQF diploma/an intermediate professional education diploma or equivalent or higher qualifications (in the case of applying for issuance of the card for the first time).

- A copy (certified by the designated verification service provider as a true copy of the original) of the certificate of completion of the verification training course under Clause 2 Article 29 of this Circular.

- 02 color photos (2 x 3 cm), taken against a white background (in case of applying for issuance of the card for the first time).
