Vietnam: Details of 04 groups of fishing vessels according to Circular 22/2018/TT-BNNPTNT

Circular 22/2018/TT-BNNPTNT has been promulgated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, stipulating regulations on crew members of fishing vessels and fishery service vessels.

Based on the maximum length of the fishing vessel, the classification of fishing vessels is as follows:

- Group IV: Fishing vessels with a maximum length from 06 meters to under 12 meters;

- Group III: Fishing vessels with a maximum length from 12 meters to under 15 meters;

- Group II: Fishing vessels with a maximum length from 15 meters to under 24 meters;

- Group I: Fishing vessels with a maximum length from 24 meters or more.
