Vietnam: Contents of the scheme for security of an information system

The Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 85/2016/ND-CP on the security of information systems by classification.

Specifically, a scheme for security of an information system shall consist of:

- Security of the information system during the phase of design and construction;

- Securing of the information system during the process of operation;

- Inspection and assessment of the information safety;

- Management of information safety risks;

- Supervision of information safety;

- Provisions, emergency response and disaster recovery;

- Termination of operation, liquidation, disposal.

Also according to Decree No. 85/2016/ND-CP of Vietnam’s Government, schemes for security of information systems must meet basic requirements as defined in technical standards and regulations on security of information systems by classification.
