For potentially invasive alien species:

- Capable of developing and spreading rapidly, exhibiting competition for food, habitat, and potentially causing harm to Vietnam's native species;- Recorded as invasive in regions with climates similar to Vietnam;- Evaluated as having a high risk of invasion to the biodiversity of Vietnam.

More details can be found in Circular 35/2018/TT-BTNMT effective from February 11, 2019.
